Camp @ Kapan
Feb 22 2015On 22nd February, 2015 / Falgun 10th, 2071 B.S.(Sunday), Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS) with technical support from NCRS Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital (BCH) organized a Cancer Awareness camp in Milan Chowk, Kapan, Kathmandu. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Baral had given a presentation on Cancer, its signs and symptoms, its treatment and prevention. He also spoke about Breast and Cervical Cancer so that the females will have some knowledge of Pap Smear Test before coming for the Cervical Cancer Screening Camp, that was to take place a week later.
Thus, on 1st March, 2015 / Falgun 17th, 2071 B.S.(Saturday), Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS) with technical support from NCRS Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital (BCH) and with support from Sunaulo Bikalpa Female Group, organized a Cervical Cancer Screening Camp at Joseph High School, Milan Chowk, Kapan, Kathmandu. The camp started from 9 AM in the morning, and was led by Dr. Sweta Baral and her medical team.
