The 35th Central Assembly of the Nepal Cancer Relief Society

The 35th Central Assembly of the Nepal Cancer Relief Society was successfully held on 25 Poush 2082 (Nepali Calendar) with Hon. Shraddha Shrestha, Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, as the Chief Guest.
The program, conducted at the Society’s Central Office in Balkumari, Lalitpur, was chaired by Central President Mahesh Shrestha.
The event was graced by the presence of former Minister for Youth and Sports Tejulal Chaudhary, the Central Committee of NCRS, former President Lokendra Shrestha, social worker and advisor Karna Shakya, advisor Jeet Bahadur Shrestha, Chairperson of NDRI Jay Kumar Gurung, Executive Director of Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital Dr. Ujwal Chalise, Founding Chairperson of Nepal Cancer Hospital, Harisiddhi Sudip Shrestha, along with other distinguished personalities and social workers.
On the occasion, the Society honored 27 donors under various categories. Furthermore, 24 district chapters from across the country presented their respective reports, and more than 150 representatives from nationwide chapters participated in the assembly.
