Cervical Cancer Screening Camp @ Siphal
Nov 15 2014On 29th Kartik, 2071 B.S., Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS) –Central Office organized a Cervical Cancer Screening Camp (Pap Smear Test) in collaboration with Pashupati Bhandareshwor Dharmik Sewa Samiti, NCRS-Kathmandu Branch Office, Rotary Club of Bagmati, Pokhareli Didibahini and NCRS Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital in the premises of Pashupati Bhandareshwor Mandir at Siphal.
The program started with short remarks from the Chief Guest Mr. Gagan Thapa, Constituent Assembly Member; Mr. Vimal Hoda, President of Rotary Club of Bagmati and General Secretary of NCRS Central Office; the President of Pashupati Bhandareshwor Dharmik Sewa Samiti; Mr. Ajay Singh Suwal, President of NCRS Kathmandu Branch Office; and, Ms. Bimala Shakya, President of Pokhareli Didibahini.
After this short prelude to the program, the screening camp began with 207 female participants.
