111th Tumor Board Meeting
Nov 07 2020On 22nd Kartik 2077 / 7th November 2020, NCRS held it 111th Tumor Board Meeting through ZOOM Platform. Tumor Board Meeting has the presence of doctors/ oncologists, both physicians and surgeons from different hospitals within the Kathmandu Valley. The motive of this meeting is to present difficult cases of cancer for discussion within the group and gather information which could help to find the solution for it. Usually, the participation is from 20-25 oncologists and the duration is of around 1 hr but it might increase depending on the number of cases discussed. In the 111thTumor Board Meeting, the meeting duration is of 1hr and 30 min. The meeting has been extended to Pokharaas well, whenever there is need felt through internet. The case presentation is Power Point presentation but sometimes its pictorial
presentation as well as oral presentation. In this 111thTumor Board Meeting, there was be 6 Power Point presentation by 4 different doctors.
