NCRS providing recommendation for discounted Air fare ticket for Cancer Patients
Jul 07 2017Nepal Cancer Relief Society has been providing referral letter to cancer patients who are willing to go abroad for further treatment with a discount on the air fare which is accepted only in Nepal Airlines situated at New Road (same side to where Kathmandu Mall is situated). Till date we have provided this facility to over thousands of patients however, in the year 2073/74 we have provided this facility to more than 200 patients. This is provided for three times (two ways) to patient and one accompany person for two times and for third time discount is provided only to patient.
Major Documents to be submitted at the central office of NCRS to get this facility are:
- Recommendation letter from Nepal's hospital stating "Patient is being referred to India for further treatment".
- Biopsy or FNAC or CT scan report.
- Citizenship or Passport of patient and accompany person. If patient is below the age of sixteen birth certificate would work too.
