NCRS steps into making restaurants in the Kathmandu Valley Smoke-Free
Apr 16 2013NCRS Chairman Mr. Lokendra Kumar Shrestha met with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and requested for the implementation of Smoke-Free Policy in Restaurants of the Kathmandu Valley. The CEO promised to co-operate with NCRS to implement the Smoke-Free Policy effectively especially in the restaurants, stressing that it is very much necessary to implement the policy so as to reduce the burden of tobacco-related diseases, and especially Cancer.
